Overview
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has issued an important notice regarding the conduct of the Preliminary Examination for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level or Equivalent Recruitment Examination for Specialist Posts/Services-2025. The examination will be conducted on 24 September 2026 through Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode in three sittings.

OSSC CHSL Exam Date and Shift Timings
The OSSC CHSL Specialist Posts/Services Preliminary Examination will be held in three shifts on 24 September 2026. Candidates must report to the examination centre within the prescribed reporting time. Entry may not be permitted after the gate closing time.

Candidates can download their OSSC CHSL Specialist Posts/Services Preliminary Examination admit card from the official OSSC website from 19 September 2026 onwards.
To download the admit card, candidates will generally need their registered login details, such as:

PwD Candidates and Scribe Facility
The notice contains specific instructions for PwD candidates who have a permanent disability of not less than 40% and applied for the scribe facility in their online application form. Candidates who need permission to use a scribe must:
- Apply in the prescribed format with required supporting documents.
- Include a copy of the online application form.
