The UPSSSC Senior Instructor Main Examination consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 100 marks with a time limit of 120 minutes (2 Hours). There is a negative marking of 0.25 (1/4th) mark for every incorrect response.

Selection Process (चयन प्रक्रिया)

Candidates will be recruited through the following sequential stages:

1. Shortlisting based on UPSSSC PET 2025: Candidates will be shortlisted for the main written examination (approx. 15 times the category vacancies) based on their PET 2025 score.
2. Main Written Examination: 100 Marks objective CBT/OMR test.
3. Document Verification (DV): Scrutiny of educational degree, caste certificate, domicile, and PET scorecard.
4. Final Merit List: Prepared strictly on the basis of marks scored in the Main Written Examination.
