Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
- General Qualification: Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Relaxation: A relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) is provided for SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Differently-Abled (PwD) candidates.
- National Eligibility Test: Must have cleared the UGC-NET / CSIR-NET or state-level UP-SLET/SET.
- Ph.D. Exemption: Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time are exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET.
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 62 Years as on 01 July 2026.
