Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The UPSC Engineering Services Examination consists of three successive stages:
- Stage-I (Preliminary Examination): Objective type papers (500 Marks) comprising Paper-I (General Studies & Engineering Aptitude - 200 Marks) and Paper-II (Engineering Discipline Specific - 300 Marks).
- Stage-II (Main Examination): Conventional / Descriptive engineering papers (600 Marks) comprising two papers of 300 marks each in the chosen engineering discipline.
- Stage-III (Personality Test / Interview): 200 Marks interview evaluating leadership, technical competence, and suitability for public service.

- Complete One Time Registration (OTR) if you are registering for the first time. If already registered, login using your OTR ID / Mobile / Email and OTP.
