Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the short notification for the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks (CRP RRBs-XV 2026). This mega recruitment drive will fill over 12,000+ vacancies for Group 'A' Officers (Scale-I Assistant Manager, Scale-II Manager, Scale-III Senior Manager) and Group 'B' Office Assistants (Multipurpose / Clerk) across participating Regional Rural Banks in India. Online registrations open on 1 September 2026 and close on 21 September 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications (as on 21.09.2026)

• Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Proficiency in the local language of the participating RRB is mandatory. Working knowledge of computers is desirable.
• Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager): Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Preference is given to candidates with degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, IT, Management, Law, Economics, or Accountancy. Local language proficiency required.
• Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer): Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate + 2 years experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
• Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer): Degree in relevant specialization (IT / CA / Law / Treasury / Marketing / Agriculture) + prescribed 1–2 years professional experience.
• Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate + minimum 5 years experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

2. Age Limit (as on 01.09.2026)

Age Relaxations: SC/ST: +5 years, OBC (NCL): +3 years, PwBD: +10 years, Ex-Servicemen: as per Govt norms.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose) & Officer Scale-I Prelims Pattern

2. Office Assistant & Officer Scale-I Mains Pattern

• Negative Marking: 0.25 (1/4th) marks deducted for each wrong answer in both Prelims and Mains exams.
• Office Assistant: Final selection is based solely on Mains examination score (No Interview).
• Officer Scale I, II & III: Combined merit based on Mains / Single Exam + Interview.

How to Apply Online for IBPS RRB CRP-XV 2026

1. Visit the official IBPS portal at www.ibps.in.
2. Click on the CRP RRBs section on the left navigation bar and select CRP RRBs-XV.
3. Click on Apply Online for Recruitment of Office Assistants (Multipurpose) or Officers (Scale-I, II & III).
4. Click on Click here for New Registration and enter basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No).
5. Note down the generated Provisional Registration Number and Password.
6. Upload scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per IBPS guidelines.
7. Fill in educational qualifications, state preference, and participating RRB preferences.
8. Preview the full application form carefully to avoid any errors.
9. Pay the required application fee online through Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
10. Download and save the system-generated application form and e-receipt for future reference.
